Senior Waste Engineer
Lead the design and optimization of waste management systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and resource recovery while improving efficiency and sustainability. Analyze waste streams, develop treatment strategies, and collaborate with teams to reduce environmental impact.

- Experience : 4- 5 years
Role Requirements
- Role shall require Professional to carry out site investigations (including incorporating high resolution site characterization), proposal and report preparation;
- Professional will be required to travel to multitude of sites and shall be involved in sampling of various environmental media including soil and groundwater;
- Professional shall be expected to support the successful delivery of ERM projects by delivering multiple project tasks or components, and building effective working relationships within and across technical communities
Education/ Training/ Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering or related fields
- Expected to have 1- 2 years of consulting experience working in Site Investigations and related activities
- Experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is expected

- Experience : 7–12 years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for infrastructure, energy, industrial, and urban development projects.
- Conduct environmental baseline studies covering air quality, water, soil, noise, biodiversity, and socio-economic impacts.
- Identify environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare environmental reports including ESIA, EIA, SEA, and environmental due diligence studies.
Environmental Compliance and Permitting
- Ensure compliance with UAE environmental regulations and international standards.

Liaise with regulatory authorities such as:
🔵 Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE)
🔵 Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD)
🔵 Dubai Municipality - Prepare and obtain environmental approvals, permits, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
- Maintain environmental registers and compliance documentation.
Environmental Management and Monitoring
- Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and monitoring programs.

Monitor environmental parameters such as:

Sustainability and Environmental Strategy

Assist in achieving sustainability certifications such as:

🔵 BREEAM - Develop environmental performance indicators and sustainability reports.
Project Management and Coordination
- Manage environmental deliverables across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and consultants.
- Lead environmental workshops, stakeholder consultations, and technical meetings.
- Review contractor method statements and risk assessments from an environmental perspective.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance to junior environmental engineers and specialists.
- Review technical reports, modelling outputs, and environmental monitoring results.
- Contribute to proposals, tenders, and project planning.
