Prepared ESIA study for the project which included the following:
Prepare Land Acquisition Plan
The study are in Jeddah Governorate extending from Thuwal in the north to Wadi Fatima in the south is approximately 4,600 km 2. Key deliverables:
15 Data Assessment & Analysis Reports:
Carbon Footprint
ILF as part of its consultancy services aimed at the improvement of pumping stations in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain has requested MAB EC LLC to undertake a carbon footprint study that aims at identifying energy efficiency, reduction in refrigerant use, and reduction in fuel usage consumption during the implementation of the improvement process. Hence, this proposal has been developed by MAB EC LLC to describe the
proposed approach to reducing the carbon footprint levels for this project.
Environmental Assessment
Complete and submit an Environmental Permit Application Form to the Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi to obtain the Environmental Permit. Follow up with EAD and provide any further information to secure the Permit. Where if preliminary environmental review report is not required by EAD,MAB EC
will conduct a high level study addressing the following briefly:
Environmental Impact due to the current system, Impacts due to construction works, and Impacts due to operation of the new proposed system.
Odor Study
The Study shall include the continuous site measurement (for a period of one week) of odorous gases concentrations in the wet wells of the pumping stations and any others as required. MAB EC shall determine and evaluate all odor release points, levels and volumes of displaced odorous gases at the pumping stations.
The study shall include modelling to calculate the formation of hydrogen sulphide and also requirements to alleviate odor problems. The model shall allow for determining the effects of variations in a number of parameters that affect the formation of hydrogen sulphide to be determined that could be expected during various temperature conditions (e.g. due to the increase in peak summer temperatures) and sewage retention time within the network.
The study shall also include the application of dispersion models for critical locations (as determined by ADSSC) like residential areas affected by odor.
Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC) in its drive to optimize its asset performance and its service quality to the public, it identified the need for rehabilitation and/or replacement of some of its assets by initiating pump station
and network rehabilitation program in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra Region. MAB’s scope includes the following; Odor Study, Salinity Monitoring, CCTV, Flow Measurement, Environmental Assessment Report and Environmental Approvals, Value Engineering, Dynamic Simulation Modelling and CFD, BIM.
EIA study has been prepared in line with the technical Guidance Documents of Environmental and Health and Safety Trakhees
EIA for desalinization plant in Abu Dhabi.
EIA for desalinization plant in Abu Dhabi.
Carbon Footprint study, Odor assessment and EIA.
Survey all construction and demolishing and characterization of waste in Jeddah City for Assessment study.
Characterization of general for establishing sorting facility for waste in Aqaba (Jordan).
Supervise the waste collection from Aqaba City and ensure that the waste has been collected according to the work plan and KPIs in place.
